We are honored that you have inquired about membership into our church family. We truly believe we are a family.

A few years ago, North Presbyterian Church advertised itself as the “small church with a big heart.” We believe this advertisement is still true today. Pastoral Care, fellowship, helping the community, kindness and friendliness are the backbone of our church. Our main goal is to make you feel welcomed, included, wanted, and needed. As a church we have much to do, and we invite you to work with us as we strive to live a life that is pleasing to God and generous to others.

Within the Presbyterian Church U.S.A., there are currently four ways of joining a church through membership.

• Sacrament of Baptism – Any adult who has not been previously baptized is asked to make a public profession of faith and receive the Sacrament of Baptism.
• Reaffirmation of Faith – Any adult who has been baptized but is not currently an active member of a congregation is asked to make a public re-affirmation of faith.
• Transfer of Membership – Any adult who is active in another congregation may be received by a transfer of membership.
• Affiliate Member – Any adult who wishes to retain active membership in another congregation may be received as an affiliate member.
